Nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Steve Forbert entertained at a benefit concert for the Fripp Island Community Centre on March 29, 2026, underwritten by the Fripp Island Friends of Music.

The opening act featured the 5th-grade djembe drum ensemble from Saint Helena Elementary School, under the direction of Miranda Valenti.
